Kazak runner, South Caucasus, circa 1880 or earlier, the designs in this 19th Century Kazak rug are wonderfully asymmetrical. The city of Kazak is located on the western republic of Azerbaijan which is famous for producing fantastic rugs from the 18th century onwards using vibrant colours and geometric designs.

This Kazak rug is very worn and damage but still beautiful.
