About Uri Jacobi Oriental Carpets

After many years of experience as an Oriental Carpet Specialist in London, Uri Jacobi has now established himself in Chester.

Uri is a well known name in the industry, and is a third generation carpet dealer - with a wealth of knowledge aspiring from inherent family blood ties, evolving from his Father’s origins from Persia and his Mother’s from Russia, who both had a deep involvement in carpets in their lives.

Uri now has inherited over 200 years of carpet knowledge, and is more than happy to share his wisdom with you.

Step into Uri’s Carpet Gallery and you enter a treasure trove of earthly delights - carpets and rugs from all over the world, and each tells a story within it’s patterns, colours and textures.

Each piece is a testament to the skill of it’s makers, some of which can take up to 2 years to weave by hand.

Visiting the store is akin to a trip to an art gallery, except that our works of art cover the walls, floors and ceilings. The choice is breathtaking, and the array of patterns, textures and sizes will enhance the good looks of your home, no matter it’s age or style.

Which Carpet/Rug Is For You?

Talk to Uri about your needs and he will share his experience to help aid you in your selection, so that you can enjoy your chosen piece on a daily basis. We can even visit your home with a range of pieces so that you can make your choice on which carpet/rug best suits your home decor.

You can choose rugs in many different sizes and materials. If at any time you wish to exchange your chosen piece, we will be delighted to accept it in part-exchange for a replacement of your choice.
